It tied a bale, then went to tie the next bale, and it stuck in the middle - it won't move either direction. There was nothing jamming it - I went in the dropped the hay bale and can't see any problem that is causing this. We've tried changing the power steering pump, changed belts and hoses and nothing has worked. If you need more information please come back with questions.

Have you fully opened(CCW) twine arm control valve knob? Did you install a new hyd filter? Is twine pump belt in good condition and gets snug during tying cycle? With no hay in baler one needs to lock baler gate, raise belt tension arm to where one can see 3+ in bale size window on RH front of baler, engage pto then pull yellow rope to engage tying cycle. One can repeatedly cycle twine arm to help bleed air out of system. Once twine arm cycles satisfactory & moves back to home then unlock gate valve and cycle tailgate all the way up then closed to reset twine pump mechanism.

Thank you. I've done some of these things, but will now go do it all in the rotation you suggested and get back to you with results. Much appreciated.

OK, here I am again. Did it all and it did not make a difference. I'm thinking it is hydraulic issue. I found our manual and plan to find and follow instructions on bleeding the line. Is this what you would do next? I really appreciate your help.

I suggest to follow instructions in OM on bleeding air out of pump. As I previously stated while attempting to bleed pump 'fully open' control valve until twine arm moves consistently.

OK - sorry for delay. Finally the rain quit so I've been busy cutting. I bled the twine arm as you suggested and nothing happened. I now think the problem is that it is jammed on the return cycle. Any suggestions?

Yes, pump belt is tight and no, arm hasn't moved at all. Still stuck in the middle of baler. I take a photo and get that in and posted soon as possible.
