The PIXMA MX870 is the same form as the Canon PIXMA MX860, measuring 18.1 inches wide with 16.2 inches deep by 7.8 inches high with a notched grip on the bottom that makes it easy to move. The curved edges and well integrated control panel emit a very slim and attractive appeal that works equally well in the office just like at home.
The large 2.5-inch LCD screen remains inside the control panel neatly organized; the left side of the house is the power button as well as shortcuts for copying, faxing, and scanning, and you also get a convenient JOG dial to the right that allows you to quickly scroll through the menus on the screen. The remainder of the right side contains the usual fare menu, settings, numeric keys, and navigation keys. Canon offers three different choices for paper input; the easiest method is through 150 sheet tray that pulls out from under the folding output bay. You can throw another 150 sheets into the rear loading cassette, and both trays have small plastic guides to fit various sizes from four inches by six inches all the way to the legal sized media and No. 10 envelopes.

When we attach a USB cable to an Canon pixma printer, the computer will try to recognize it and if it has a suitable driver, it can do an automatic installation and print.
